A brief history of Queensferry Lifeboat

1972

The D class lifeboat was withdrawn and replaced by a B class Atlantic 21 lifeboat.

1969

On 1 January the name of station was changed to Queensferry, previously South Queensferry.

1967

An inshore lifeboat station was established in July. A D class lifeboat was housed in the converted old Toll House.
