RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat was launched to a report of three casualties cut off by the tide at Cramond Island.
The lifeboat uplifted the three and due to the state of tide, landed them at Granton Harbour where a coastguard unit was waiting.
The lifeboat was stood down and returned to station.
