Wind on scene was a North Easterly force 1-2 with a Slight sea and Good visibility.
RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat was launched to a report of persons cut off by the incoming tide at Cramond Island.
Once on scene the lifeboat located the four tourists who had telephoned the coastguard. Following discussions with the group, Crewmember Lei walked the island and located a fifth person wishing to be uplifted.
The five were embarked on the lifeboat and taken to a waiting coastguard unit at Cramond harbour.
The lifeboat was stood down and returned to Hawes Pier.
